Harley Davidson Circa 1930s

Harley Davidson Circa 1930s

I'd like to identify the model and approximate year of the Harley in this picture. The young fellow in the picture was my wife's second cousin Howard from Cambridge, Ohio. I think the picture was taken in the late 1930s. Do you know anyone who can help?

  1. I can't help you with determining the exact model and year of the motorcycle, but the picture itself is awesome. It is a snapshot of motorcycle history.

  2. Did some looking around at tank paint designs and the closest I could find looks like 1936. Great photo.

  3. Jerry Fischel has been duped by K N Air Filters. While they do allow more air into the engine they also are allwiong more dirt into the engine. Replacing the cheap paper air filters in much better for your engine's longevity. I do use K N filters on my race bike, to reduce air drag, but I also rebuild the engine after 3 or 4 races!!
