Rate My Harley - Additional Notes

3/20/10Spring is in the air and hopefully we'll get some new pics submitted. Harleys with beautiful women are noticeably absent lately... hopefully someone can submit a few.

12/28/09All the fuss over social networking has led me to update the site once again. We'll try a new form or picture rating by taking advantage of voting on public sites like Digg, Technorati, and others. We'll see how this works out.

9/12/09 I have also decided to resurrect the original rating program that I was running. It's an easy way to cast a vote for your favorite pic. I will also keep the gallery format active as well for those who prefer to view the pics in a photo gallery format.

9/12/09 The harley tattoo category is up and running however it is currently empty and awaiting the first tattoo picture. I know there's someone out there somewhere sporting a Harley tattoo.... send in some pics! We want to see some Harley tatts!

8/31/09 I am working on a Harley Davidson tattoo category.... stay tuned and check back here shortly.

5/09 I have added a gallery style format to supplement the site. Basically, each motorcycle gets its own static page now and the bike owners can actually add a basic description when they upload their picture. I feel this is a dramatic improvement and we'll see how it works out.

2/09 I can't seem to settle on the best format for rating these pictures so I'm currently in the process of improving the site once more. Stay tuned as I have a few bugs that need to be worked out yet.

4/08 Well the new layout seems to be working very well. The breakdown of the bikes into decades I think will work great. Remeber to keep the comments as clean as possible. The site is meant to enjoy these bikes, not criticize them.

6/07 I am beginning a massive change to the way we organize and rate photos. Over the next few weeks you will see the photos broken up into separate albums by decade. There will also be a custom section, a section specifically for those hot biker gathering pictures, and a section for everything else Harley related. You can find the link at the bottom of each album if you'd like to submit your picture. It will be the user's responsibility to post the photo into its proper album. We are moving to an automated photo upload rather than emailing the picture to make the photo upload process easier than ever. Unfortunately all past comments and ratings will be lost but I don't think it will be a major issue. These modifications to the site will make it more user friendly and more organized. I'll keep you posted.
